Admission procedures:

The admission office is open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. except for Thursdays and Fridays which is from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Emergencies are received over the 24 hours.

Individual Patients' admission :
The patient presents with a prescription from the treating doctor whether seen at the hospital or his private clinic. The status of admission is then decided whether hospital or private case.

Organizations' Admission ( for contracted organizations): The patient presents with a transfer letter from his/ her employing organization indicating the requested service and identifying the level of accommodation and the status of admission ( hospital or private case).
The transfer letter is only valid for one month unless determined by the employing agent and vividly stated on the letter. Beyond the duration of one month, a new transfer letter has to be issued. The letter is preferred to indicate a single service. An insurance down payment estimated for ten days accommodation + surgical expenses would be required on admission. This will be deducted from the final bill upon discharge.

Organizations' Admission ( for non-contracted organizations):
The patient presents with a transfer letter from his/ her employing organization indicating the requested service and identifying the level of accommodation and the status of admission ( hospital or private case).
In addition a valid check addressed to the ASUSH-public account ( please confirm exact address) and after checking the exact required amount.

Type of admission:
Hospital case: Treating doctor's fees will be collected within final bill
Private case : Treating doctor's fees will be handled by the individual or the organization external to the final bill.

Visiting hours:

5- 8 p.m. summer months
4 – 7 p.m. winter months
Visits start at 3 p.m. on holidays
Children are only allowed by special arrangement with the Public Relations
